2. Junior and Intermediate Classes Spring Concert (Asian Heritage Month)
I would like to cordially invite you to our Jr. and Intermediate division Spring Performance which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 1:30 pm in our gym. Since May is Asian Heritage Month in Canada, this concert celebrates Asian heritage through instrumental music drawn from a range of Asian cultures represented within our student population, paired with a student-led exhibition of traditional cultural attire reflecting their families’ countries of origin across Asia.
We hope that you can join us to celebrate the many gifts and talents of our students, your children!
For parents and guardians who have already signed and returned a permission form, allowing their children to get involved in the cultural clothing component of the spring concert, please note that we will be having rehearsals at school on Thursday, May 7th and Monday, May 11th. Please send the articles of cultural clothing with your child on those days in a separate bag.
3. Grade 7 Confirmation at St. Paschal Baylon Parish
Congratulations to all of our St. Giovanni Battista Scalabrini CES Gr. 7 Confirmandi and their families today! Thank you Fr. Ezio, all of the catechists at St. Paschal Baylon Parish, and to Ms. L. Gravel, for preparing our Skyhawks to renew their Baptismal vows and receive the Holy Spirit’s gifts on this momentous day, as our students received the Sacrament of Confirmation!
